The Stork is Coming!

After a year and a half of waiting, praying and a lot of trying Dave and I are finally excited to announce we are expecting baby Meikle #4!

April 15th looks to be the magic day.

Lacy Who?

I can't believe it has been almost a whole month since my last post!

September has been a very busy month filled with crazy work, church and back to school tasks. We also threw in two colds for me and one nasty bout of the stomach flu for the whole family. I am just so grateful for Dave who has not only been a fab dad and hubby, but has become my personal super hero taking care of kids, work, dinners, and house cleaning duties while I have been super busy and miserably ill.  I never want to be a single mom! My kids would have starved this month without Dave and his most wonderful self.

I now have a lot of over due blog posts, so just bear with me as I catch up.

Daniel's First Day of School!

Daniel started kindergarten today and while I did not cry, I was still a little sad that my first baby is edging out of the nest. It was weird to watch him head into class with all of his neighborhood, church, and pre-k friends and not even look back...NOT AT ALL. I was relieved to see he was excited and okay about heading toward a new adventure, and even though I had two more ninjas home with me that day I missed Daniel and realized this was the beginning of a whole new world for him and our family. This also means I am now old enough to have a child in school...Yikes! How did that happen?

Mia's First Day of School

Mia had her first day of pre-k school today and man was she ever ready to go! She even had her new pink sparkle shoes on and ready to go while her jammies were still on. Daniel was sad because kindergarten does not begin for three more days and it seemed very unfair that his little sister began school BEFORE him.

Happy Birthday Sam!

Today Sam turns two and I can't believe how much my baby has grown! I love you Sam! You are the cutest, juiciest, sweetest boy I know. You melt my heart and I hope you never get too big to kiss your mommy.
