Pottery Barn and Visiting Teaching Make Me Evil

Pottery Barn has the best ideas for decor and the cutest textiles which I love. Every season when I received a new catalog in the mail Dave cringes as I begin flipping through pages scouring them for ideas and inspiration while making endless lists of to-dos and to-buys for the house.

I mean have you seen this chair?

Rug?

Duvet Cover

This Bed?

I want them all, and I want to repaint, re do and remodel my whole house to match. Of course I won't because I am to practical and cheap, but I love to dream, make lists and ponder the possibilities. And I really, really do want that bed when we upgrade to a king. Someday...

And now you are wondering what about visiting teaching? Well, Mo C and I visit one of the cutest ladies here in the hood and her house is simply perfection. I love her ideas and endless fab ways of re creating the ordinary. Whenever we return home and Dave sees me he just knows that trouble is brewing inside my head.

I covet, conspire, plot and lament over the possibilities existing inside our lovely home too.

My cousin on the other side always says that her goal is to have someone walk into her house and say, "Wow, this looks just like page 47 of the Pottery Barn catalog!" So, when ever you are down on yourself...or Dave gives you a hard time, you are really not that bad.
I finished the main square on the baby blanket. Guess it is time for a play date and the edging. Oh, your ninjas need not worry... Hannah's fingernails are clipped now!

Wow, I never thought of VT as evil, but I now UNDERSTAND! (I couldn't keep from laughing!) Thanks for faithfully serving, even though the EVIL creeps in!

I have to know whose house makes you evil. You make me laugh. I love it. I like to look through the Pottery Barn catalogue and play the "shopping spree" game I used to play when I was a kid - I pretend I get to pick one thing from every page. If only...

those pieces of furniture are AWESOME. I agree about Pottery Barn. I secretly flip through Kate's catalog when it comes in the mail (don't tell) and I too drool over most items!
