4th of July

My favorite holiday! This year we went to the Park City Mountain Resort with the Egbert family and had a blast. Awesome pool, awesome parade, awesome music in the park, great food and a giant king sized bed in our room...we bought one as soon as we got home. We stayed for five days and totally had a blast.

Just Keep Swimming

The kids started swimming lessons this summer with mixed reviews. Mia is a fish and hates to get out of the water. Daniel HATES swimming and each lesson is a mini therapy session on drowning and death. Sam is ambivalent, but follows his brothers lead, so now he is a hater of the water too. We will be done with our lessons in two weeks until the spring and Daniel cannot wait for the break.

Thanksgiving 2009!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year Dave and I both have a lot to be grateful for. We have had many ups and downs, but we have been very blessed to have each other and our four happy/crazy/adorable children. I love my family and could not wish for a better life.

Well, maybe a bubble bath when I am done with all of the cooking and cleaning up later...

Baseball

Daniel and Mia both played baseball again this summer and it was hilarious. Mia is a lefty and kept trying to bat right, so you had to keep your eyes on her ALL the time. Daniel is improving and has a nice swing. It will be fun to have three kids play next summer.

Father's Day 2009

We hosted a Father's Day dinner for Dave, his Dad Wayne, and Mr. Vern and Miss Marva joined us this year too. We had a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed all of the visitors.

Dave's 40th Birthday Bash

We celebrated Dave's 40th birthday this summer and I surprised him with a party. I secretly invited all of his family and friends and even though the rain threateded to ruin the night, it ended up perfect weather and we had a lot of fun laughing and visiting with everyone. Dave was truly surprised even though I conned him into setting up the whole bash and I was a stressed out maniac all day, he never caught on and it was great! Especially the Famous Dave's!
